Hosting a Successful Event

Refreshments may be served in the following galleries:

First Floor: Mark Epstein Innovation Gallery

• 5,000 sq. feet devoted to some of the latest research and innovation at MIT

Second Floor: the original galleries of the MIT Museum including:

• Robots and Beyond, including Kismet, the world's first sociable robot
• Mind and Hand, an exhibit illustrating the lore and legend of life at MIT
• The MIT Museum's function room, a spacious and well appointed room next to the Mind and Hand gallery.

Guests may also take self guided tours and enjoy the Museum's other exhibit spaces, which showcase: the time-stopping photos of legendary MIT professor, "Doc" Edgerton, the witty and engaging kinetic sculptures of Arthur Ganson, and amazing 3-D holographic images .

Our functions manager is happy to provide additional information including a no-cost tour to introduce the Museum, and discuss how the MIT Museum can resourcefully and creatively meet your event needs.
