Invention Disclosure
If you are an MIT inventor and you would like
to submit an invention disclosure to our office, download
the MIT
Technology Disclosure Form*. The form should be filled
out completely including sponsorship information, a description
of the technology and original signatures. This is the
information we need to review your invention and begin
the patent process. If you are from Lincoln Laboratory,
the Broad Institute or the Whitehead Institute click on
your organization.
If you are disclosing software code, please see Software
Licensing, including Open Source and use the MIT
Software Code Dislcosure Form or the Lincoln
Lab Software Disclosure Form.
If you are disclosing other copyrightable
materials (such as video, music, maskworks,
or designs), please use the MIT Software Code Dislcosure
Form or the Lincoln Lab Software Disclosure Form. Contact
the Technology Licensing Office with any questions.
If you are disclosing non-patented MIT materials, please
use the Disclosure
Form for the Transfer of Non-Patented Materials.
